Beulah P. Nettles

Beulah Daisy Pittman Nettles, 87, of Homerville passed away Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2022, at her daughter’s residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Clinch County to the late Henry Crawley Pittman and Winnie Arnold Pittman. Mrs. Nettles was a graduate of Atkinson County High School and lived in Clinch County most her life. She was retired as a bookkeeper and worked for Homerville Motor Company, Bob Williams Ford Dealership, Cypress Mulch, and Timber Growers. Mrs. Nettles was a member of New Pine Grove Church and enjoyed sewing and especially working in her yards.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin Nettles; one sister, Dorothy Geiger, and one brother, Billy Joe Pittman, Sr.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Delk of Homerville; two grandchildren, Garrett Delk of Valdosta and Kyle Delk of McDonough; one brother, Henry C. Pittman, Jr. and his wife Linda of Jacksonville, FL; one sister-in-law, Susan Pittman of Jacksonville, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 11 am at New Pine Grove Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:30 until 11 am at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Georgia in Valdosta, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA 31602.
