Betty Fussell Marini

Mrs. Betty Fussell Marini, 83, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in The Canopy at Azalea Grove, Valdosta, GA, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Marini was born August 20, 1939 to the late Homer Jerome Fussell and Betty Pauline Smith Fussell. She had earned a Master’s Degree in Education and worked as counselor for the Atkinson County Elementary School.

Survivors are a son John Dinkins (Robyn ), Lakeland; one sister: Patsy House (Phil), Ocala, FL; two brothers: Edward Fussell (Andrea), Lake Park, GA and Calvin Fussell Linda), Valdosta, GA; two granddaughters: Kirsten Myott (Jon) and Kali Hurst (Dylan): three great granddaughters: Raelyn, Isabella and Aurora; several nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
