Betty Sue Baker

Ms. Betty Sue Baker, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Riverbrook Healthcare in Homerville, GA, following an extended illness.   Ms. Baker was born July 02, 1951, in Homerville, GA to the late Frank & Sarah Morrell. She had attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Homerville, GA. She was preceded in death by one sister: Dollie Mae Sirmans and one brother: James Morrell.     Survivors are one son: Jessie Daniel Baker Jr. and his wife Jessica; three sisters: Barbara Hersey and her husband Mike-Alma, GA, Janie Griffis and her husband Tiny-Homerville, GA, Joann Gilbreth and her husband Bobby-Florida; two brothers: Terry Morrell and his wife Virginia-Pearson, GA, Larry Morrell and his wife Minnie-Moultrie, GA; one grandson: Troy Lee Baker-Waycross, GA; nine nieces: Heather Gainey, Nellie Davis, Beth Hersey, Lynn Barnes, Jenny Chaney, Brandi Grow, Angie Vaughn, Jeneen Morrell, Felicia Thomas; eight nephews: William “Paint” Sheppard, Jamie Morrell, Larry Morrell, Sammy Reliford, Richard Reliford, Cassidy Finch, Allen Youngblood, Jack Youngblood and a number of other friends & relatives.   Funeral services for Ms. Baker will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   Interment will follow in Lang Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Friday, August 16, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
