Benny Day

Benny Willard Day, 63, of Fargo died Saturday afternoon (Nov. 7, 2020) at Riverbrook Healthcare in Homerville after a short illness. He was born in Homerville to the late Rufus and Francis Chauncey Day. Mr. Day lived here all of his life and worked for Suwannee Timber as a Truck Driver. He attended Fargo Evangelistic Church. Mr. Day always enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Day.

Survivors include his wife Tawana Gilbert Day of Fargo; two daughters, Beth Infinger (Chopper) of Homerville, and Fran Day (Jack Patel) of Carrollton, GA; three sons, Jimmy Day (Carmelita) of Homerville, Carey Day (Breeze) of Mayday, GA, Blaine Day of Fargo; ten grandchildren, Kinleigh, Landree, Prem, Malakhi, Daniel, Daisy Mae, Tanner, Carli, Hagen, and Waylon; one sister, Debbie Wilson of Argyle; two nieces, Jennifer Wilson and Paige King; one nephew, Lyn Day.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm at Fargo Evangelistic Church. Burial will follow in Wayfare Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Fargo Evangelistic Church beginning at 6 pm.
