Alfred Jordan

Alfred Jordan, 99, of Homerville passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his residence after a short illness. He was born in Atkinson County to the late James R. “Jim” Jordan and Sarah Jane Jordan and lived in Homerville most of his life. Mr. Jordan retired as a Truck Driver and always enjoyed growing blueberries and especially fishing. He was a member of the Shiloh Church.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Velma Deese Jordan; one son, Lamar Jordan; one grandson, Dalton Jordan; three great grandchildren, Michael and Mitchell Jordan, and Hunter King; two sisters, Serena Mae Roberts and Ella Hunter; three brothers, Lester Jordan, Harvey Jordan, and Henry Jordan.

Survivors include two children, Jan Jordan Touchton (Gene) of Homerville, and Troy Allen Jordan (Regina) of Jasper, FL; nine grandchildren, Misty Griffis, Scott (April) Touchton, Keven (Melanie) Touchton, Candy Jordan, Brandy (Jimmy) Howell, Tammy (Wayne) Roundtree, Al Jordan, Nicole (Stanley) Raffield, and Tony (Anisa) Jordan; 18 great grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning, May 17, 2025, at 11 am at Shiloh Church. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
