Daisy Mae Birmingham Humphries

Fargo, GA Mrs. Daisy Mae Birmingham Humphries, 87, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, following an extended illness. Mrs. Humphries was born June 9, 1923, in Wharton, TX, to the late Frank Birmingham and Julia Berrea Birmingham. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother; she loved to go shopping, fishing, dancing and loved working in the yard. She was a member of the Edith Baptist Church, a homemaker and was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Birmingham, Jr., Tim Birmingham, Gilbert Birmingham and Charlie Birmingham. Mrs. Humphries loved her family and friends very much, she will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. Survivors are her loving husband of 56 years: Bob Humphries, Fargo; one son and daughter-in-law: Bobby & Tonya Humphries, Palatka, FL; three grandchildren: Kelli, Krista and Summer Humphries, Palatka, FL; one brother & sister-in-law: Cal & Martha Birmingham, San Antonio, TX; & several other relatives. Memorial Services for Mrs. Humphries will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010, at eleven o'clock from the Edith Baptist Church. Memorilization will be by Cremation.
