Alvin Green, Jr.

Homerville, GA Mr. Alvin Green Jr., 69, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, at Clinch Memorial. Mr. Green was born January 1, 1941, in Mobil, AL, to the late Albert Law & Everline Law. He was employed by Bway for seventeen years as an Oven Operator and a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, of Lockhart, AL. Mr. Green was preceded by his wife: Nellie Johnson Green. Survivors are a daughter: Anglia Green, of Pensacola, FL; a son: Alvin D. Green, of Homerville; a sister: Betty Harris, of Crestview, FL; three brothers: Donald Goldsmith, of Florala, AL, Hillery Goldsmith, of Samson, AL, and Charles Moody, of Pensacola, FL; a grandson: Alvin Green; & several other relatives. Services for Mr. Green will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010, at two o'clock from New Vision Church of God. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Friday evening, February 26, 2010, from 6 til 8pm. Mr. Green will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
