Martha Lou Pittman

Homerville, GA Mrs. Martha Lou Pittman, 70, passed away Thursday evening, January 28, 2010, at Clinch Health Care. Mrs. Pittman was born October 22, 1939, in Glennville, Ga, to the late Walter Holcomb & Laura Todd Holcombe. She was retired from Clinch County Board of Education, where she worked in the cafeteria, and attended the Church of God. Mrs. Pittman was preceded by her husband Mose Evral Pittman and a son: Hank Pittman. Survivors are: a daughter & son-in-law: Doreen Jewel (Jack), of DuPont; three sons & daughters-in-law: Leonard Pittman (Paula), Alan Pittman ( Juanita), & Billy Holcombe (Barbara), all of Fargo; a sister & brother-in-law: Jane Griffis (Buddy), of Jacksonville; two brothers & a sister-in-law: Jesse Holcombe (Glenda) & R.L. Holcombe, of Frankland, LO; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five-great-grandchildren; & several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Pittman will be held Sunday, January 31, 2010, at two o'clock from Fargo Church of God. Internment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery, in Pearson. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 6 til 8pm. Mrs. Pittman will be carried to the church one hour prior to services. Roundtree Funeral Home served the Pittman Family.
