Dorothy "Dottie" Marie Bagley

Homerville, GA Mrs. Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Bagley, 55, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Satilla Hospice House, following a short illness. Mrs. Bagley was born January 10, 1963, in Homerville, GA to the late Oscar Newbern and Verdie Mae Davis. She was a retired waitress from Jimbo’s Log Kitchen and was Pentecostal by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bagley; one sister: Denise Hill; a sister in law: Mary Lee Newbern; and father in law: Leo Bagley. Survivors are one daughter: Gina Bagley; two sisters: Debra Newbern and Darlene Newbern (Pee Wee); two brothers Johnny Newbern & Albert Davis Jr. (Rosamary); father: Albert “Man” Davis Sr.; Mother in law: Mary Emma Bagley; two granddaughters: Jada Bagley & Trista Bagley; and several other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Bagley will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.
