Verlin Ray "Richey" Ritch

  Perry, GA   Mr. Verlin Ray “Richey” Ritch, Jr., 53, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at the Perry Hospital, following a brief illness.   Mr. Ritch was born August 9, 1964, in Homerville GA. He had attended The Way Church. He loved fishing and talking about the Lord to everyone he met. He attended Auburn University and was a great Auburn fan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lunette Griffis Ritch.     Survivors are his wife: Tracy Lastinger Ritch; one daughter Alexandria Thompson; one son: Ryland Ritch; two grandchildren: MaryRuth Ritch and Christopher Thompson all of Perry, GA; his father and step-mother: Verlin R. & Marion Ritch, Sr.-Homerville, GA; one adopted brother; Will Saylor-Waycross, GA, one step-sister; Denise Brown; his mother-in-law: Brenda Ciciora; his grandmother-in-law: Ruth Allen; two step-nieces: Parker Brown and Logan Brown, all of Homerville and several other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Ritch will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at eleven o’clock from the Shiloh Church.   Memorialization will be by cremation.   The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 from 6 till 8 p. m. at the funeral home.   Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
