Robert "Bobby" Gilbert, Jr.

Lake Park, GA Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Gilbert, Jr., 53, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at his residence, following a short illness. Mr. Gilbert was born October 24, 1964, in Homerville, GA to Betty Jean Kittrell of Lake Park, GA and the late Robert Lee Gilbert, Sr. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Bethel Church of God in Lake Park, GA. Survivors other than his mother are: one daughter and son in law, Jennifer (Billy) Carter-Lake Park, GA; one son and daughter in law, Chris (Ashley) Gilbert-Statenville, GA, one sister and brother in law Ruby “Dodie” (Gary) McKown-Valdosta, GA, one brother and sister in law, Stephen (Jeannece) Gilbert-Lakeland, FL; nine grandchildren, Cassidy Gilbert, Cailyn Gilbert, Cy Carter, JG Livermore, Cale Livermore, Sadie Carter, Charlee Gilbert, Lilith Livermore, Cooper Gilbert, and several other relatives. Memorialization will be by cremation. Graveside services for Mr. Gilbert will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 4pm in the North Cemetery near DuPont, GA.
