Albert "Joe" Jones, Sr.

Fargo, GA Mr. Albert “Joe” Jones, Jr., 79, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jones was born December 28, 1929, in Dodge County, to the late Albert Jones, Sr. & Carrie Mae Yancey Jones. He was a Maintance man for St. Regis Paper, a member of the Edith Baptist Church, and was on the Board of Directors for Slash Pine EMC. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a son: Wayne Jones. Survivors are his wife: Geneva Petty Jones, of Fargo; a daughter & son-in-law: Gayle & David Infinger, of Fargo; a son & daughter-in-law: Charles & Angela Jones, of Homerville; a brother: LeRoy Jones, of Rhine, Ga; two grandchildren: Laci Infinger, Chad & Mary Jones; two great-grandchildren: MaryChristian Jones & Anna Leigh Jones; & several other relatives. Services for Mr. Jones will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009, at eleven o'clock from the Edith Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Friday, October 30, 2009, from 6pm til 8pm. Mr. Jones will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
