Margaret Wilson Douglas

Homerville, GA Mrs. Margaret Wilson Douglas, 86, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Lakeland Villa Nursing Home, of Lakeland, Ga. Mrs. Douglas was born April 16, 1923, in Ware Co., to the late Walter Wilson & Katie Bonadurer Wilson. She was employed by the Clinch Memorial Hospital as a Laundry Supervisor. Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her husband: Edman Lewis “Ed” Douglas; & two sons: Arlie Douglas & Roger Dale Douglas. Survivors are three sons & daughters-in-law: Charles & Ann Douglas, of Waycross, Tommie & Myrtle Douglas and Ronnie & Jane Douglas, all of DuPont, Ga; two brothers: Ben Wilson, of Argyle, and Winton Wilson, of Manor; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; & several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Douglas will be held Sunday, October 25, 2009, at three o'clock from the Free Will Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 6 til 8pm. Mrs. Douglas will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
