Homerville, GA Ms. Marion Denise “Sissy” Huelsnitz, 58, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Ms. Huelsnitz was born March 6, 1959, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Franklin Marion Allen I and Helen Monett Tison. She was a retired nurse and a member of Edith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Ex-Husband & friend Dr. Roger Wayne Huelsnitz Sr. and step father, Bob Tison Survivors are one son Thomas Pearce Huelsnitz (fiancé Kayli Scheffer)-Atlanta, GA; two step daughters: Jennifer Farber-Bertha, MN, Jill Whitley-Enigma, GA; one step son: Roger Wayne Huelsnitz Jr.-New York, NY; one brother: Franklin Marion (Jabo) Allen II; her best friend, Joy Edmond; her beloved pet dog, “Scooter”, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Ms. Huelsnitz will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2 pm at Edith Baptist Church in Fargo, GA. Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Edith Baptist Church.
