Homerville, GA Mrs. Yvonne Douglas Williams, 78, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Mrs. Williams was born February 21, 1939, in Homerville, GA, to the late Albert Douglas and Willie Jean Hinson Douglas. She was a member of the Homerville United Methodist Church and was the owner of an Antique Shop. She had also worked at DEFACS. Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law: David & Lisa C. Ring, Jesup, GA; three grandchildren: Alex Ring and Galiya Ring, both of Jacksonville, FL and Cooper Ring, Jesup, GA; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services for Mrs. Williams will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at three o’clock from the Homerville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.
