Lugene Booth Teston

Homerville, GA Mrs. Lugene Booth Teston, 71, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Teston was born October 1, 1937, in Clinch County, to the late Lester Booth & Lucille Lang Booth. She was retired from Peagler-Manley Insurance Company, of Homerville, where she was a Secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and attended New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Mrs. Teston is preceded in death by two brothers: E. H. Booth, & Walter I. Booth; & one Grandson: Pierce Henderson. Survivors are her husband: C. Edward Teston, Jr., of Homerville,; one daughter & son-in-law: Debbie & Alvin Henderson III, of Homerville; two sons & daughters-in-law: Eddie & Shirley Teston, of Homerville, and Les & Amelia Teston, of Waycross; one sister: JoAnn Griffis, of Homerville; five grandchildren: Jack Teston, Emma Teston, Dustin Henderson, Dallas Teston, & Madison Teston; & several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Teston will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at eleven o’clock, at the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 6 til 8pm. Mrs. Teston will be carried to the church one hour prior to services. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Teston family.
