Adolphus Cleveland

Homerville, GA Mr. Adolphus Cleveland, 75, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009, at the Satilla Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cleveland was born May 22, 1934, in Equality, AL, to the late Marshall Cleveland & Lucille Cleveland. He was employed by Union Camp Logging, and was a member of the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of 50 years: Deloris Carter Cleveland, of Homerville; a daughter: Xavier Cleveland Walker, of Homerville; a son: Daryl Cleveland, of Homerville; four sisters: Jerrie Chapman, of Danville, IL, Dorthy Davis, of Chicago, IL, Linda Chapman & Zora Mae Moon, both of Alexander City, AL; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. Services for Mr. Cleveland will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009, at eleven o’clock, at the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Mr. Cleveland will be carried to the church one hour prior to services. The funeral Cortege will assemble at 10:45 a.m. at the residence. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Cleveland family.
