Richard Bland Moore

Homerville, GA Mr. Richard Bland Moore, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at his residence, following a short illness. Mr. Moore was born April 19, 1932, in Sanjuan County, NM, to the late Grundy Bland Moore and Gladys Thilimia Palmer Moore. He was retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Company and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife: Alice Slaughter Moore. Survivors are close friends: Gib Boren, Boise, ID and Joe & Carolyn Sherrod, Homerville and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 at three o’clock from Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
