Valdosta, GA Mr. Kristopher Martin Rogers, 39, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Mr. Rogers was born November 28, 1977, in Douglas, GA. He had worked for Lowndes County Utility Department in maintenance. Survivors are one daughter: Kayleigh Ariel Rogers, Valdosta; one son: Kristopher Creed Earl Rogers, Valdosta; his mother & step-father: Sharon & Tony Allen, Homerville, his father & step-mother: Earl & Thelda Rogers, Fargo; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Tina & Greg Hendrix, Homerville, Cathy Gaskins, Naylor and Vickie & Wesley Henderson, Homerville; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Matt & Shelia Rogers and Mark & Jennifer Rogers, all of Homerville; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Rogers will be held Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 at three o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Memorialization will be by cremation. There has been a memorial fund established for his children. Please send memorial donations to Roundtree Funeral Home at P.O. Box 301 Homerville, GA 31634 The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
