Homerville, GA Mr. Wilson Henry Prescott, 38, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Mr. Prescott was born Sept. 6, 1978, in Waycross, GA. He retired from Suwannee Creek Berries. Survivors are his wife: Melissa Taylor Prescott, Homerville; one son: Mitchell Prescott, Homerville: his mother and step-father: Debra & Curtis Bennett, Homerville: his father and step-mother: Ray & Ginger Prescott, Nahunta; two sisters and brother-in-law: Heather Bennett and Casey & Don Daniel, both of Homerville: two brothers and a sister-in-law: Patrick & Amber Prescott and Parker Prescott, both of Homerville; one step-sister: Jherri Prescott, Nahunta; three step-brothers and sisters-in-law: Derick & Allison Prescott, Clayton, NC, Chris & Taylor Graddy, Hortense, GA and Britt & Caitlyn Arnold, Douglas, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Prescott will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 at eleven o’clock from the Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Prescott will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
