Jackie Chauncey

Fargo, GA Mr. Jackie Chauncey, 65, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at his residence, following an extended illness. Mr. Chauncey was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Homerville, GA to the late Sam Chauncey, Jr. and Amy Lou Truluck Chauncey Gilliard. He retired from Design Space as a plumber. He was preceded in death by one son: Joey Chauncey. Survivors are one daughter: Tina Chauncey, Fargo, GA; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty Ann & Jimmy Steedley, Fargo, GA and Marlene & Kenneth Shirley, Homerville, GA; five grandchildren, with the oldest grandson serving in Afghanistan: a brother in love: Bunk Wheeler, Fargo, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Chauncey will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at eleven o’clock from the Fargo Evangelistic Church. Interment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fargo Evangelistic Church.
