Lucy Bell Smith Jordan

Argyle, GA Mrs. Lucy Bell Smith Jordan, 95, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in the Lakeland Villa, Lakeland, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Jordan was born Mar. 20, 1921, in Homerville, GA to the late Calvin Smith and Emma Susan Fullford Smith. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Place of Blessing Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lige Jordan, five sisters and three brothers. Survivors are four daughters; Glenda Jordan and Sammie J. Griffin, both of Argyle, GA, Carelene Johnson and Hilda Hussetleter, both of Lakeland, GA; one son: Gerald Jordan, Waycross, GA; one sister: Helen Brown, Gainesville, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren: and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be held Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at two o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
