Rose Smith Beckham

Jacksonville, FL Mrs. Rose Smith Beckham, 72, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Beckham was born June 20, 1944, in Homerville, GA, to the late Henry Leon Smith and Odessa Cason Smith. She was a retired laundry room worker. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Nancy Beckham and five brothers: Raymond Smith, Robert Smith, Rever Smith, Russell Smith and Ronnie Smith. Survivors are five daughters and sons-in-law: Linda Braddock, Diane & James Van Landing Ham, Brenda & Paul Miller, Rose Marie & William Childress all of Jacksonville, FL and Connie Beckham, Mayo, FL; thirteen grandchildren: fourteen great grandchildren: and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Beckham will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 at two o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
