Betty Ruth Jordan Mullins

Valdosta, GA Mrs. Betty Ruth Jordan Mullins, 73, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Mullins was born July 25, 1943, in Ft. Pierce, FL, to the late Samuel L. Jordan and Elizabeth Tanner Jordan. She was a homemaker and loved fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Mullins; daughter: Tina Colon; granddaughter: Britten Connell; three sisters and one brother. Survivors are four daughters and sons-in-law: Ruth & Donald Apperson and Angel M. Petty, both of Valdosta, Yolanda M. & Bobby Joyce, Statenville and Deana & William Beverly, Homerville; three sons and daughters-in-law: Julio & Susan Colon Atlanta, Michael B. & Deborah Smith and Duwane Wilson Smith, II, both of Valdosta; eighteen grandchildren: twenty great grandchildren: a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial graveside services for Mrs. Mullins will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at two o’clock from the Shiloh Church Cemetery. Memorialization will be by cremation.
