Betty Ruth Lee Mull

DuPont, GA Mrs. Betty Ruth Lee Mull, 74, passed away, Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in the Lakeland Villa Nursing Home, Lakeland GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Mull was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Homerville, Georgia to the late Adolphus Dakota Lee and Mattie Ruth Hughes Lee. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Wayne Mull; three brothers: Callaway Lee, Terry Lee and J. Donald Lee. Survivors are her sister: Jane Lee, DuPont; two nieces and nephews-in-law: Eve & Bill Murray and Layne & Robert Varnedoe, all of Homerville; six great nieces & nephews; Laura Lee & Danny Smith, Joel & Sarah Varnedoe, John Varnedoe, Trey & Jennifer Murray, Ben Murray and Ross Murray, all of Homerville and five great great nieces & nephews: J. D. Smith, Callie Smith, Sam Smith, Daniel Smith all of Homerville and Marissa & Colby Phillips, Valdosta, GA; two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Bettie Sue Mull Walker, Fayetteville, GA and Linda G. Mull & Jackie Padgett, Tifton, GA and several other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Mull will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at three p.m.at the First Baptist Church, Homerville, GA. Interment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
