Fruitland, GA Mrs. Helen Christine Anderson Carver, 68, passed away, Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Carver was born April, 3, 1948, in Ashland, KY to the late John Allen Anderson, Sr. and Louise Combs Stephens. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fruitland Church of God. Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by one daughter: Caroline Pauline Bennett. Survivors are her husband: Robert Carver, Fruitland; one son: Timothy Alfred Bennett, Fruitland; two sisters: Shan Bailey and Linda Sue Brown, both of Valdosta; one brother: John Allen Anderson, Jr., Lake Park, GA; two grandsons: Michael Bennett & Timothy A. Bennett; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Carver will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at three p.m. at the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Wayfare Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, from 6 to 8 at the Funeral Home.
