Kayla Sheree' Nicole Hendrix

Hahira, GA Ms. Kayla Sheree’ Nicole Hendrix, 29, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at her mother’s residence, following an extended illness. Ms. Hendrix was born March 17, 1987, in Savannah, Georgia. She was working at Reinhart Food Services in Valdosta, GA as a customer service representative. She attended the New Vision Church of God. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents: David & Daisy Sutton and Farley & Lottie Hendrix, her paternal grandmother: Shirley R. Taylor and paternal grandfather: Willie Robert Gainey. Survivors are her mother: Cynthia Lynn Hendrix, Hahira, GA; father and step-mother: Robert Dewayne & Bridget L. Gainey, Homerville, GA; maternal grandparents: Hubert & Bronna Hendrix, Homerville; five brothers & sister-in-law: LaMarcus D. & Heather Gainey, Justin L. Gainey, Bradley E. Johnson, Keynan J. Gainey and Zicorey D. Gainey, all of Homerville; one aunt: Stephanie L. Hendrix, Hahira; three cousins: Justin E. Hendrix, Jaylan A. Hendrix and Jayvian E. Hendrix, two second cousins: Kailynn Gonzalez and Cali-Rae Gonzalez; a number of other aunts, uncles and relatives. Funeral services for Ms. Hendrix will be held Thursday Aug. 18, 2016, at two p.m. at the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Ms. Hendrix will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
