Catherine Lynette Harris

Valdosta, GA Mrs. Catherine Lynette Register Harris, 71, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born April 11, 1938, in Clinch County to the late, John Register and Catherine Register Register. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church, Valdosta. She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Caldwell and one brother, J. L. Register. Survivors are her husband: William “Buddy” Harris, Valdosta; one daughter and son-in-law: Catherine Lee Harris & Rusty Johnson, Brunswick, GA; two grandchildren: Russ Johnson and Sarah Johnson, Brunswick, GA; one brother: Herbert Register, DuPont; four sisters-in-law: Loretta Swann, Valdosta, Dorothy Bennett, Lakeland, Bobbie Hayes, Lake Park, GA and Jane Richardson, Jacksonville, FL; a special friend and caretaker: Dana Walker, several special nieces and nephews and other relatives. Services for Mrs. Harris will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at two o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Harris Family.
