Wanda Gail Swearingen

Homerville, GA Mrs. Wanda Gail Hawkins Swearingen, 49, passed away, Monday, June 13, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Swearingen was born March 7, 1967, in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late W. J. Hawkins and Amy Nell Simpson Hawkins. She had worked at Clinch HealthCare and was attended the DuPont Full Gospel Mission. Survivors are her husband: David Earl “Cotton” Swearingen, Homerville; one daughter: Elizabeth Gail Swearingen, Homerville; one step-son: Phil Swearingen, Homerville: two sisters: Geneva Grunell, Moultrie and Sue Hawkins, Rome, GA; two brothers: Leroy Hawkins, Blackshear, GA and Dell Hawkins, Rome, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Swearingen will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016, at eleven o’clock in the Lang Country Church. Interment will be in the Lang Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 17, 2016, from 6 to 8 at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Swearingen will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
