Isaac King

Homerville, GA Mr. Isaac King, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, in the Clinch Healthcare, Homerville, following an extended illness. Mr. King was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Bowman, SC to the late Henry King, Sr. and Daisey Mae Kelly King. He had worked as a general laborer and was a member of the Cannon Baptist Church, Branchville, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hattie Mae King, Ethel B. Graham, Daisey Mae Simon, Rebecca King-Harris (his twin sister), Henry King, Jr., Harvey Williams and Richard King. Survivors are three daughters: Queen Ester King, Philadelphia, PA, Louise King(Mary L. Glover), Motcomer, SC, and Inez King-Parker, Summerville, SC; one son: Isaac King, III, Orangeburg, SC; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Henrietta K. & Rev. James Williams, Jacksonville, FL, Margaret K. & Freddie L. Spates, Valdosta, GA and Mary Jane Stone, Branchville, SC; three brothers-in-law: LeRoy Kelly, Orangeburg, SC, Jerome Kelly, Branchville, SC and Henry Kelly, Bowman, SC; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren: his devoted caregiver and friend: Melton Smith, Jr., Homerville; a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. King will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at eleven o’clock in the Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 10 till 11 a.m. at the church. Condolences to the family may be conveyed at the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
