Jo Ann Dial

Homerville, GA Mrs. Jo Ann Burkett Dial, 73, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Dial was born August 10, 1942, in Atkinson County, GA to the late Wilson Franklin Burkett and Maude Ethel Selph Burkett. She was a homemaker, member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church and Shiloh Ladies Prayer Group. She was preceded in death by one son: Vergil Franklin Dial. Survivors are her husband: Vergil Q. Dial, Homerville; one son: Robb Dial, Homerville; one sister: June Cason, Homerville; brother & sister-in-law: Roy & Sarah Burkett, Baxley; a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Dial will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at eleven o’clock in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Dial will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
