Stormy Lynn Brown Corbitt

Hortense, GA Mrs. Stormy Lynn Brown Corbitt, 37, passed away Tuesday, April. 5, 2016, in the Hospice of Golden Isles, Brunswick, GA, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. Mrs. Corbitt was born Feb. 11, 1979, in Tampa FL. She worked as a Dispatch Supervisor for United Road in Brunswick and was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Cobb. Survivors are her husband: Eric Corbitt, Hortense, GA one daughter: Lexi Corbitt, Hortense; three sons: Tyler Brown, Wyatt Close and Hunter Corbitt, all of Hortense; her mother & step-father: Sharon & Bill Gribble, Nashville, GA; two sisters: Sherry Blevins, Nashville, GA and Christine Kindrick, Nashville, TN; five brothers: Earl Knowles, Charlie Knowles, Jason Knowles, Cory Knowles and Chad Gribble all of Nashville, GA; her paternal grandmother: Daisy Cobb, Tampa, FL; a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Corbitt will be held Friday, Apr. 8, 2016, at two o’clock in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends Thursday, Apr. 7, 2016, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Corbitt will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
