Homerville, GA Mrs. Sarah Bell Teston Lloyd Griffis, 83, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Griffis was born April 8, 1932, in Homerville, GA to the late Clarence Edward Teston, Sr. and Mabel Bennett Teston. She had worked at The Heritage Bank as a receptionist before her retirement and was a member of the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Talmadge Eugene Lloyd, second husband, George Owen Griffis; one sister: Rita T. Carter and one brother: Clarence Edward Teston, Jr. Survivors are one son: Clay Lloyd, Homerville; two step-daughters & sons-in-law: Karla & Wade Daniel and Kristi & Jim Dickerson, all of Homerville; two sisters: Margaret Lee, Manor and Glenda Pope, Kirtland, NM; one grandson: Clayton Lloyd; four step grandchildren: Ryan (Tina) Daniel, Chase (Brooklyn) Daniel, Trey Dickerson and KristiAnna Dickerson; four step-great grandchildren: Grayson Daniel, Cathryn Daniel, Braelyn Daniel and Nora Daniel; a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Griffis will be held Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at two thirty p.m. in the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church Interment will be in the New Pine Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Griffis will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
