DuPont, GA Mr. Donald Wilbur Royals, 71, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Mr. Royals was born August 11, 1944, in Pearson, GA, to the late James Abner Royals and Nunnie Mae Spivey Royals. He was a self-employed mobile home repairman and was preceded in death by one sister: Audrey R. Corbitt and two brothers: Clinton Sidney Royals and James Edward Royals. Survivors are his wife: Lisa Morrow Royals, DuPont; six daughters & son-in-law: Lisa Suzanne Royals, DuPont, Anita Elizabeth Royals Todd, Ludowici, GA, Regine Michelle Royals (Jesse) Ellison, Lee, FL, Donna Gayle Royals Green, Cecil, GA, Christie Dyan Royals Kirk, Lee, FL and Rebecca Marie Royals, DuPont; four sons: Darrell Wilbur Royals, Lee, FL, Neil Ivan Royals, Axson, GA, Jacob Allen Royals, Tifton and Little Darrell Wilbur Royals, Sarasota, FL; one sister: Kathy Wanell Melton, Lakeland, GA; two brothers: Vernon Royals, Tifton and Randell Benjamin Royals, DuPont; 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Royals will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at two o’clock in the DuPont Baptist Church. Interment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont, GA. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, from 1 til 2 p.m. at the DuPont Baptist Church.
