Danny Dewayne Shaw, Sr.

Mr. Danny Dewayne Shaw, Sr., 49, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Shaw was born March 30, 1966, in Homerville, GA to the late William Troy Shaw, Sr. and Doris Jean Butler Shaw. He was retired employee of Harvey’s Super Market as a meat cutter and attended the New Vision Church of God. Survivors are his wife: Patricia Morrow Shaw, Homerville, GA; two daughters & a son-in-law: Kimberly & Daniel Poythress, Waycross and Taylor Shaw, Homerville; one son: Danny D. Shaw, Jr., Homerville, GA; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Barbara Faye & James Sandlin, Homerville, GA, Brenda Gail & Harvey Allen Spikes, Pearson, GA, Deborah Jean & Billy Jeffers, Blackshear, GA and Cindy Lorraine Girmaldo, Jacksonville, FL; two brothers and sister-in-law: William Bobby Kenneth Shaw and Troy Ray & Tammy Jo Shaw, all of Homerville; six grandchildren: Daniel Jason Poythress, William Hunter Poythress, Jada Ann Poythress, McKenna Nevaeh Shaw, Zane Devoy Shaw and Jesse Leonard Booth, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Shaw will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at eleven o’clock in the Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, from 6 til 8 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church. Condolences to the family may be conveyed at the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
