Homerville, GA Mrs. Dorothy Bell Boatright Roundtree, 73, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at her residence, surrounded by loving family following a short illness. Mrs. Roundtree was born May 29, 1942, in Homerville, GA. to the late Chesley Boatright and Carrie Mae Beverly Boatright. She was a charter member of the Harvest Time Church of God and was retired from B-way. Survivors are her husband: John B. “J.B.” Roundtree, Homerville; four sons & daughters-in-law: Kevin Findley, Homerville, Wayne & Tammy Roundtree, Pearson, Wesley & Caroline Roundtree, Homerville, Kenny Roundtree, Waycross; one daughter & son-in-law: Tiffiney & Jerel Anderson, Pearson; eight grandchildren: John Wayne Roundtree, II, Heather & Devin Long, Mitchell & Taylor Roundtree, Ben & Elizabeth Johnston, Brock Roundtree, Lee Anderson, Autumn Anderson, and Annie & Dustin Bagley; two great grandchildren: Camden Roundtree and Aleigha Johnston, and number nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Roundtree will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at two o’clock in the Harvest Time Church of God. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Roundtree will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
