Chester Allen Wheeler

Fargo, GA Mr. Chester Allen Wheeler, 60, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in the St. Lukes Hospital, Jacksonville, FL, following an extended illness. Mr. Wheeler was born Sept. 1, 1948, in Charlton County, GA to Ethel Thompson Wheeler Holmes of Douglas and the late Allen Wheeler. He was a foreman for John Carlo Corporation in Jacksonville, FL and was a veteran of the U. S. Marines serving in the Vietnam War. Survivors other than his mother are his wife: Mrs. Juanell Thompson Wheeler, Fargo, GA; three step-daughters: Audrey O’Brien and Bonnie Altman, both of Jacksonville, FL and Vanessa Taylor, Douglas, GA; one step-son: Jimmy Hargraves, Jacksonville, FL; two brothers: John Wheeler and Theo Sirmans, both of Fargo, GA; four sisters: Debbie Smith, Fargo, GA, Sandy Bussington, Brunswick, GA, Theresa Mulder and Sherylann Ball, both of Valdosta, GA, several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and other relatives. Services for Mr. Wheeler will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at two o’clock from the Fargo Church of God. Interment will be in the Boones Creek Cemetery, St. George, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 till 8 p.m. at the Fargo Church of God. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Wheeler Family.
