Mary Jordan Steedley

Homerville, GA Mrs. Mary Jordan Steedley, 59, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Mrs. Steedley was born Jan. 15, 1956, in Homerville, GA, to the late Claude B. Jordan and Pearlie Smith Jordan. She was a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church and worked at The Clinch County Training Center for 18 years. She was preceded in death by husband, Farley Steedley, Jr. Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law: Misty Nichole & Roger Sutton, Homerville and Mary Elizabeth & Donald Myers, Ray City, GA; one son: Farley Devoid Steedley, Homerville; one sister & brother-in-law: Bernice & Afton Hinson, Forest Park, GA; one brother and sister-in-law: Roy & Carolyn Jordan, Hoboken, GA; four grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Steedley will be held, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at eleven o’clock in the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. Memorilization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Steedley will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
