Clennie Chauncey Jordan

Argyle, GA Mrs. Clennie Chauncey Jordan, 84, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 in the Hospice of Satilla, Waycross, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Jordan was born May 1, 1930, in Lakeland, GA, to the late Walter Chauncey and Fannie Lee Chauncey. She was retired from Brockway Standard and was a faithful member of the Place of Blessings Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Jordan; one sister: Cleo Thomas, two brothers: Carroll Bennett and Edgar Chauncey and one grandson: Michael Anthony Beecher. Survivors four sons and a daughters-in-law: Jimmy & Betty Jordan, Waycross, David Jordan, Argyle, Sam & Margaret Jordan, Homerville and Johnny & Sandy Jordan, Alma; two daughters and son-in-law: Eloise Beecher, Manor and Brenda “Kandi” & Dennis Mixon, Argyle; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be held, Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 at eleven o’clock in the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle, GA. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle.
