Randall Jackie Griffis

Mr. Randall Jackie Griffis, 76, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 in the, South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta Georgia, following an extended illness. Mr. Griffis was born April 20, 1938, in Homerville, GA, to the late Randall Jack Griffis and Lola Dukes Griffis. He was a self-employed carpenter, veteran of the U. S. Army and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Griffis, Pudden Griffis and Bo Griffis and one sister, Latrell Griffis Linsdby. Survivors are one daughter: Sharon Griffis, Homerville; one son: Randy Griffis, Byron, GA; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Marcia & James McQuaig, Manor, GA and Jeanette Berry, SC; special friends: Bobby & Betty Stewart, Lakeland, GA; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services for Mr. Griffis will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at ten o’clock in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Memorilization will be by cremation.
