Homerville, GA Mr. Lonnie Anthony “Rob” Smith, 57, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Smith was born June 4, 1957, in Homerville, GA, to Mr. Claude Franklin Smith of Homerville and the late Leola Davis Smith. He was a self-employed contractor. He was preceded in death by one brother: Dennis Smith. Survivors other than his father; are one daughter: Jennifer Smith, Homerville; one sister: Nita Smith, Homerville; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Frank & Janice Smith and Myron “Reesy” Smith, all of Homerville; one granddaughter: Kadence Simon, Homerville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services for Mr. Smith will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at two o’clock in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
