Walter Edward Henderson

Manor, GA Mr. Walter Edward Henderson, 65, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 in the Mayo Clinic Health System, Waycross, Georgia following sudden illness. Mr. Henderson was born May 29, 1949 in Ware County to the late Folks Flemming Henderson and Annie Mae Morgan Henderson. He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a beekeeper and a mason. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Wanda Lou Brewer and Mary Helen Browning. Survivors are his wife: Dicie Hendrix Henderson, Manor, GA; three sons: Huey Edward Henderson, Paul Flemming Henderson and Brian Walter Henderson, all of Manor; three sisters and brother-in-law: Annie Ruth & Ronnie Hendrix, Homerville, Karen Henderson, Baxley and Ernestine Oliver, Tifton; three grandchildren: Caleb Henderson, Marci Henderson and Chase Henderson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Henderson will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014, at eleven o’clock in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friend’s Wednesday, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Henderson will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
