Homerville, GA Mrs. Lurene “Dean” Penrod, 68, passed away, Sunday, July 13, 2014, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following a sudden illness. Mrs. Penrod was born July 16, 1945 in Macon, GA to the late Odell Jones and Lovenna Buchcans Jones. She had worked for the Hudle House and as a cleaning lady. Survivors are her husband: Michael Penrod, DuPont; three daughters and son-in-law: Kelly Penrod and Janie & Jason Penrod, East Liverpool, OH and Patricia Penrod, North Port, FL; four sons and daughters-in-law: William & Christine Martell, Sailor Springs, IL, Rudy & Audrey Martell, Cheyenne, WY, Mike Penrod, Jr., Wellsville, OH and Christopher & Jenessa Penrod, Port Charlotte, FL; one sister: Roshann Smith, Jacksonville, FL; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Willis & Deborah Jones, Jacksonville, FL and Tom & Irma Jones, Houston, TX; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
