Mary Jean Lee

Homerville, GA Mrs. Mary Jean Lee, 71, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Lee was born February 24, 1943 in Homerville, GA to the late Edgar Lee and Jewell Estell Cox Lee. She had worked for B-Way and was a foster parent. She was a member of the Homerville First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Gilstrap. Survivors are her husband: Robert A. Lee, Sr., Homerville; two sons and daughter-in-law: Robert A. “Robin” & Denise Lee and Richard Allen Lee all of Homerville; one sister: Gwen Hooker, Valdosta; three brothers: Tommy Lee & Billy Joe Lee both of Homerville and Gerald Lee, Hudson, FL; two grandchildren: Ashley Lee and Alexa Dickson; three great grandchildren: Kalei Nelson, Brylei Nelson and Parker Dickson and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Lee will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at eleven o’clock in Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
