Linda Wright Singletary

Homerville, GA Mrs. Linda Wright Singletary, 65, passed away Sunday, Mar. 9, 2014 at her daughter’s residence in Lakeland, following an extended illness. Mrs. Singletary was born July 15, 1948 in Atkinson County to the late Vilos Wright and Vera Morgan Wright. She was retired from BWay as a machine operator. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Wright & Beecher Wright, one sister, Geraldine Fowler and her special aunt that raised her, Lilly Spivey. Survivors are two daughters & sons-in-law: Denise Hughes & Wallace Colley, Jr and Michelle Singletary & Chris Smith all of Lakeland; two granddaughters: Heather Nicole Colley & Rebekah Mahayla Smith both of Lakeland; two sisters: Earelois Hall, Yulee, FL and Barbara Cady, Douglas, GA; one brother: Eustace Wright, Douglas, GA; her three loving dogs, CoCo, Lola & Angel and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Singletary will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at two o’clock from the Harvest Time Church of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
