James "Pete" Lennon Jordan

Homerville, GA Mr. James “Pete” Lennon Jordan, 71, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 in the South Georgia Medical Center, following a brief illness. Mr. Jordan was born April 1, 1942 in Homerville, GA to Lucy Bell Smith Jordan, Homerville and the late Lige Jordan. He was retired from B-way Corp. with 42 years of service as a Supervisor on the Ammo Line. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Jordan. Survivors other than his mother are his wife: Jane Ann Morgan Jordan, Homerville; four sisters: Carlene Johnson, Lakeland, Sammie Joyce Griffin, and Glenda Jordan, both of Argyle and Hilda Faye Mathis, Ray City; one brother: Gerald Jordan, Waycross; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 at two o’clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
