Fargo, GA Mr. Joey James Orlando Baker, 49, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA. Mr. Baker was born Nov. 7, 1964 in Homerville, GA and was a bee keeper for Johnson Honey Company. He was preceded in death by his father: George Robert Baker, Sr.; one brother: George Robert Baker, Jr. and a step-son: Michael Strickland. Survivors are his wife of 20 years: Lynn Whittington Baker, Fargo: his mother: Margaret Tucker Baker, Fargo; one sister & brother-in-law: Denise & Grant Conine, Lakeland; one brother& friend: Greg Baker & May Stricklin, Fargo; his father & mother-in-law: John & Janice Harper, Homerville; sister-in-law & brother-in-law: Sissy & Steve Suggs, Homerville and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at two o’clock from the Fargo Church of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery, Homerville.
