Annie Ree Bennett

DuPont, GA Mrs. Annie Ree “Granny Ann” Futch Bennett, 74, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at her daughter’s residence, following a short illness. Mrs. Bennett was born April 18, 1939 in Homerville, GA, to the late John Alva Futch and Carrie Lee Smith Futch. She was retired from Jack and Jill Nursery and was a member of the DuPont Full Gospel Mission Church. She was preceded in death by, one son: Stacy Sirmans. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Brenda & Robert Nash, Homerville; two grandchildren: Lee & Kristy Nash, Homerville and Leigh Ann & Dustin Steedley, Fargo; three great grandchildren: Krislyn Nash, Stiles Nash and Dawson Steedley; one sister: Bobbie Lee Sirmans, DuPont, two special children, Annelise Brown and Meredith Brown and several other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at eleven o’clock from the DuPont Full Gospel Mission Church. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
