Homerville, GA Mrs. Sarah Jane Howling Beverly, 76, passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Beverly was born March 30, 1937 in Clinch County, GA to the late Jimmy Howling and Mary Loucrecy Lee Howling and lived in Clinch County all of her life. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Place of Blessing Church of God, and was preceded in death by her husband: James F. Beverly, Sr.; one son: Liemuel Beverly; four sisters: Zelphia Beckham, Nettie Lou Carter, Loucrecy Kichen and Mary Lou Howling and one brother: Timothy Howling. Survivors are four daughters & sons-in-law: Debra & Cecil Cribbs, Lakeland, Inez & Douglas O’Neil, Nahunta, Kathy B. Moore, Argyle and Sarah & Tony Corbitt, Pearson; three sons and daughters-in-law: James F. & Alice Beverly, Jr., Harry Lee & Laura Beverly all of Homerville and Robert & Cindy Beverly, Argyle; one sister: Annie Ruth Roberts, Valdosta; two brothers: Elvin Howling, Adel and Jimmy Howling Okeechobee, FL; twenty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly will be held Monday, August 5, 2013 at two o’clock from the Place of Blessing Church of God, Argyle. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until at the Place of Blessing Church of God, Argyle. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
