Marion Charlton "Cash" Turner

Homerville, GA Mr. Marion Charlton “Cash” Turner, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, following an extended illness. Mr. Turner was born February 11, 1934 in Clinch County, GA to the late James Holland Turner and Willow Ree Capps Turner. He was a self employed dry-wall contractor and a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Meeks Turner. Survivors are one daughter: Jerri Turner Moylan, Homerville; three sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie L. & Linda Turner, Blackshear, Marshall C. & Selena Turner and Billy R. Turner, all of Savannah; one sister: Sherma Smith, Savannah; one brother and sister-in-law: Jimmy & Iona Turner, Homerville; Six grandchildren: five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at three o’clock from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
